Moons mad ride to Cairns

Hi everyone ,

You know they say that 1 in 4 people will have their life affected in some way by cancer, but myself I believe everyone will be affected. I personally have had my life affected to myself and close family members.

So I aim to do what I can to help fund research and care, in a way that I hope will test me and show people that I am out there trying to make a difference.

At the end of july I will be taking part in the Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride to help raise much needed funds for the Children's Cancer Institute of Australia. The ride is 358 kms and will be done over 3 days, day 2 should be pretty challenging going over the Cardwell range.

There will be a small group of us from Ayr going (James Jensen, Rob Mitchell, Andrew Sherrington, Evan Shannon, Col Reese and myself Michael Mooney ) raising money as a team.

I know you all think us cyclists are mad and this will only consolidate those thoughts but our intentions are good raising much needed funds for CHILDRENS CANCER INSTITUTE AUSTRALIA.

All donations no matter how big or small greatfully accepted, and can be made online or drop them in to work at Burdekin Motors, even those 1 and 2 dollar coins can help.
